About Us

Craig and Eric's vision for Green Lane Pharmacy is to provide a traditional, courteous and personal service to all their customers - a lot of whom are known by name already. Green Lane Pharmacy prides itself on independent patient care.

Craig Steven Rusling BSc (Hons) M.R.Pharm.S

Craig began his pharmaceutical career at 16, when he began working for Eric Goodwin. Following A-Levels, Craig enrolled at Liverpool John Moores University to study for a degree in Pharmacy.

He graduated in 1998 with a 2:1 BSc (Hons) degree, and following his Pre Registration year became a member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain in July 1999. Craig then returned to work for Eric as Manager of Booker Pharmacy, followed by the acquisition of Green Lane Pharmacy, in partnership with Eric in March 2004.

Eric George Wright Goodwin BSc (Hons)1 M.R.Pharm.S

Eric studied Pharmacy at Liverpool School of Pharmacy between 1978 and 1981, where he graduated with a first class BSc (Hons) degree. Eric returned to his home town of Bangor to complete his Pre-registration year and became a member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain in 1982.

Eric returned to Liverpool in 1983 to manage a Pharmacy in Woolton Village, going on to purchase his first pharmacy in June 1985 - Penny Lane Pharmacy Ltd, and later Booker Pharmacy in 1993.

After being involved in a number of pharmacies over the years, he decided to sell up in 2000, but he soon realised he still had plenty to offer the profession and then purchased Green Lane Pharmacy with his new partner, Craig.
